Kia Ora SEWN friends,
We send courage and hope to the people of the Bay of Plenty in New Zealand, that are facing a dramatic oil spill of the Rena. May this be all over soon.
Both France and New Zealand are in the final stage of the Rugby World Cup, exciting time here where our hearts are torn!! May the best team win!
After some successful post production, we are back on track! Today we open up the South Coast with, as usual, the production stills and footage stills.
For this coast, we went back down to Wellington, the capital city and we met up with Ian Gall, a weather forecaster at Metservice, and Nicolas Brikké, the director of this project, who is also completing studies in Geophysics in Wellington. These two will represent the South Coast, “The Head of Maui’s Fish” as it is known in Maori mythology.
So check out the gallery of the website for the stills by clicking on picture:
We’ll catch up again on the 11th of November for SEWN News South Coast for some Making-of footage!
Talk soon,
The SEWN Production Team.
